Bacon of the Week #2

As promised, we’ve got something a little special for our second Bacon of the Week. It’s Daily’s Hardwood Smoked Peppered Thick Sliced Bacon Rubbed With Pepper. I like that it’s so peppery they got the word pepper into the title twice. Personally peppered bacon is my favorite kind and the good people at Daily’s have really brought the ruckus with this offering. The pepper here is serious business; really coarse-ground cracked pepper that not only gives the bacon a delicious zing but a fantastic crunchy texture as you bite into those peppercorns.

Last week’s BOTW was devoured so quickly that we were unable to offer any photos other than of the empty packet. This time around we were able to exercise a little more restraint, so here are a few photos illustrating the various states of awesomeness the bacon went through in our Bacon Aficionado frying pan, from raw to perfectly cooked!
